Head Waiter, French Bistro, London 37k plus Tronc
Mon to Fri 48hr a week
I'm looking for a top-notch Head Waiter for a fantastic opportunity. This isn't just about carrying plates; it's about leading a team and being the standard-bearer for incredible service in a high-end setting.
The Role:
We need an experienced Head Waiter to guide the front-of-house team and ensure every guest's experience is second to none. You'll be the right hand to the Restaurant Manager, helping to run service smoothly and mentoring the junior staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the waiting team during service, setting the pace and the standard.
- Train and develop junior staff, sharing your knowledge and passion for hospitality.
- Ensure every guest receives exceptional, attentive service from arrival to departure.
- Handle guest queries and feedback with professionalism and confidence.
- Work closely with the management and kitchen teams to ensure a seamless dining experience.
- Assist with staff rotas, opening and closing duties, and maintaining restaurant standards.
What We're Looking For:
- You must have experience as a Head Waiter or a Senior Waiter in a fine dining or similar high-quality restaurant. You need to know what it takes to operate at this level.
- A real leader. Someone who can inspire a team and lead by example, not just give orders.
