Salary: £49,500 + Depending on Experience

The Opportunity: We have an exciting opportunity for a new Inventory Manager, this role is integral to the business to ensure dealers and customers receive the right material in the right quantity at the right time. In this role you will take responsibility for control inventory, adding or revising content and levels to properly balance the relationship between customer satisfaction and inventory cost.
What You Will Do:
- Direct leadership of all logistics activities related to inbound and outbound material movement, shipping, receiving and inventory storage systems.
- Establish and maintain practices to achieve Bills of Material, Material Routing and Stock accuracy in SAP.
- Manage the day-to-day planning and organising of the stores department.
- Manage timekeeping of all personnel by the Workday timecard system.
- Maintain a holiday chart for all staff ensuring that all vacancies are evenly spread-out providing cover to all areas throughout the year.
- Manage the stock locations of all material used at the Wimborne facility, both in the main storage and build line areas.
- Ensure all information is updated daily on to the SAP computer system.
- Ensure that all finished goods product is readily available for customer collection.
- Implement and manage perpetual stock takes to the laid-out CPS Inventory Record Accuracy and Inventory Dollar audit standards.
- Enter all stock adjustments and issues on to the SAP computer system.
- Manage a training matrix ensuring that all staff are correctly trained in corporate procedures and adequately trained to perform their day-to-day operations.
- Purchase all consumable, stationery, toners, and other non-stocked products.
- Approval of invoices and contracts. Assist in resolving all griefed invoices.
- Manage the annual stock take and supply to accounts all relevant information.
- Pro-actively improve “end-to-end” processes in line with CPS activities and maximizing PULL in value stream both before and after the production process.
- Provide weekly and monthly reports for: Inventory Records, Inventory Dollar and Start Online performance Audits including Bill of Materials and Material Routing route cause analysis and maintaining 5s standard procedure.
- Responsible for the Health and Safety of all personnel within the department, together with assisting management in assessing and reporting hazards, or health risks.

- Inventory Management: Knowledge of inventory management; ability to manage inventories of raw materials and finished goods.
- Supply Chain Management – SAP: Knowledge of functions, principles and techniques used in supply chain management.
