As an Inventory Controller you will perform a variety of tasks to control and validate inventory and stillages. The inventory controller will understand and route cause stock adjustments and then implement corrective action. Maintain cycle counts in line with KPI targets.

Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Controlling and validating inventory
  • Validating stillage inventory
  • Understanding route cause and supporting the implementation of the corrective actions for stock adjustments
  • Shipping and receiving parts, materials, equipment and supplies
  • Verifying the accuracy and conditions of such items and conformance to shipping procedures
  • Constructing boxes, crates, skids, frames, etc., for use in packaging or securing items for shipment
  • Training other employees if and when required

Candidates will have gained the following skills and experience through previous roles:

  • The ability to read, write, comprehend, and follow verbal instructions and the ability to perform basic arithmetic calculations
  • Working knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures
  • Basic computer skills: Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Teams
  • Good analytical and logistical thinking abilities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Understanding of operational procedures and environments
  • Experience or understanding of inventory management and/or transactions
