The Opportunity: Ready to build your expertise as an SME in new product introduction and product improvement? As a Service Engineer, you’ll lead parts authorisation and readiness for BCP New Product Introduction (NPI) programmes, alongside fast-paced Continuous Product Improvement (CPI) activity. You’ll develop deep technical knowledge in parts processes, serviceability and stocking, working closely with global teams to meet approval‑to‑ship targets and ensure parts availability for key projects. What You Will Do: As a Service Engineer, you will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Develop and maintain procedures and plans to support product quality, reviewing outcomes to identify functional gaps and drive corrective actions where required.
- Review manufacturing and production processes to identify design or build issues, working with stakeholders to improve efficiency, quality, and repeatability.
- Gather and assess internal and external feedback to identify opportunities to improve product serviceability and support continuous product improvement.
- Produce clear technical specifications and work instructions, and track activities from concept through release to ensure quality, performance, and delivery targets are met.
