Caterpillar are looking to hire passionate Safety Champions across multiple areas of the business to lead the charge in creating a proactive, positive safety culture across our operations. In this hands-on role, you'll deliver impactful training, coach teams, and drive continuous improvement in health, safety, and environmental standards.

What You’ll Do:

  • Design and deliver safety training for Team Leaders and Managers
  • Lead daily safety walks and monthly safety meetings
  • Coach individuals and teams on best practices
  • Support incident investigations and risk assessments
  • Collaborate on safety communications and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Champion safety culture and lead by example

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Holding a relevant safety qualification (e.g. NEBOSH, IOSH) is an advantage

Development Opportunity:

We’re looking for someone eager to grow—if you don’t yet hold a safety qualification, you should be willing and able to work towards one (e.g. NEBOSH or BSC Level 3). Flexible working arrangements will be considered for this role, in-line with the needs of the business.

Salary: starting £28,969 and rising to £30,450 once competency triggers are met

Benefits: 27 days annual leave + bank holidays, Production Bonus, Share Scheme (50% Company Matched), Contributory Pension Scheme (Contribution double by Company up to 10%), Free Car Parking, Caterpillar Advantage website (offers & discounts)
