Job Title: Risk & Compliance Associate – 12 Months Fixed Term Contract

Salary: £29,428 per annum + Dependent Upon Experience

Location: Larne, NI

Benefits:

Job Summary

Due to continuously increasing focus on compliance globally and in the business, an opportunity has become available within the Cat NI Risk & Compliance Team. This role will work collaboratively with other members of the Compliance team, and the wider operational and business teams.

Additional Info

  • Occasional travel may be required.

  • This role requires a 5 day on site presence.

  • Hybrid working is not supported for this role.

What You Will Do

  • Act as support for the wider Compliance team, by carrying out due diligence and screening (eg.End Users, Cat NI Visitors, EPD Pcard transactions, Third Party Intermediaries , as required).

  • Classification of products and parts, in accordance with enterprise standards and following business unit processes.

  • Record keeping governance for the NI Compliance team.

  • Support the NI Compliance team by assisting with general governance of processes and systems to ensure there are no gaps and by taking proactive steps to address any risks which may arise.

  • Assist with the development of Compliance communications and trainings on relevant matters, as required.

  • Support any other compliance related projects as required.

  • Proactively keep up to date on relevant laws and regulations, and attend training as required.

What You Have

  • Accuracy and attention to detail – Understanding the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision.

  • Highly developed knowledge of Microsoft Office, in particular Excel.

  • Strong administrative, organizational, and analytical skills.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work cross functionally.

  • Personal accountability, and strong initiative.

  • Pro-active, with the ability to work independently, flexibly and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
