We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the Leicester Customer and Training Centre team as a Product Demonstrator - supporting customer visits, dealer training, and product demonstrations. In this role you will have the opportunity to work with others across our organisation and you will be directly involved, facilitating sales of machines, attachments and services to our customers.
Job duties and responsibilities:
- Supporting customer and dealer events, delivering product training, and demonstrating CAT and competitive machinery, attachments and jobsite technologies.
- Providing product application expertise at point of sale, delivering various types of product training including applied technology, job efficiency, and safety.
- Providing support during customer, dealer and trade events both at LCTC, other Caterpillar facilities, and dealer locations.
- Supporting day to day visits, factory tours and product walkarounds.
- Supporting the integration and demonstration of key technologies and product solutions within Customer and Training Centres and in the field.
- Supporting performance studies, benchmarking products, collecting and providing feedback to improve NPI and CPI projects with our product groups.
- Working alongside the LCTC team to maintain and develop the demonstration fleet, buildings and demonstration facilities to provide a world-class customer experience.
Who are we looking for?

Suitable candidates will have:
- Experience operating construction equipment.
- An understanding of the BCP Product and Attachment range.
- An understanding of typical customer applications.
- Basic computer literacy and experience working with Microsoft Office 365.
- The ability to communicate clearly, and work within a flexible team.
- Ability to travel (up to 10% of time).
The best candidates will have:
- Up to date experience operating a range of CAT BCP equipment and attachments, with a track record of operating safely, and to the standards expected on a professional job site.
- An understanding of CAT technologies such as Grade, Command, Ease of Use and Remote Control.
- Experience delivering training on CAT equipment either internally, or ideally externally to customers and dealers.
- Experience supporting events at CAT facilities, dealer or customer sites, or tradeshows.
- Experience working with product groups supporting development of machines, improving controllability, providing “Voice of Customer”.
Flexible working arrangements will be considered for this role, in-line with the needs of the business.

Salary: £35,247 starting salary rising to £39,000 once fully competent.
