The Opportunity: As a Production Manager in logistics, you will lead daily operations to maximise efficiency, quality, and safety while driving continuous improvement through Lean practices, Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA), and Process Issue Description (PID) tools. You’ll prioritise workflow, monitor KPIs, maintain accurate documentation, and support a high-performing team through strong coordination, coaching, and driving compliance.
What you will do: As a Production Manager, you are accountable for, but not limited to:
- Promote a safe, high-performing workplace by identifying risks, ensuring compliance, and driving continuous improvement through Lean practices, RCCA, and PID tools.
- Plan and prioritise daily operations, adjusting staffing, monitoring KPIs, and improving performance across the section.
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting for processes, tooling, performance, and inventory, ensuring full safety and quality compliance.
- Lead and support a team of logistics operatives, coordinating daily tasks, providing coaching and training, and fostering a collaborative, improvement-focused culture.
