12 Month Industrial Placement Scheme

Salary: £26,000, Share Scheme, Pension and 24 days annual leave (plus bank holidays).
We currently have some exciting opportunities for industrial placement students to join Caterpillar across several of our sites. You will have the opportunity to work with others across our organisation and you will be directly involved in strategic projects.
Eligibility: In order to be eligible to complete a 12 Month Industrial Placement commencing July 2026, you must be in your penultimate year of study unless enrolled in an integrated master’s program.

Job duties and responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Supporting the JSS Regional Operations Manager and Fleet Managers in execution and standardization of Service Delivery for dealer and customer contracts within Europe, Africa Middle East and Eurasia.
- Communications coordination.
- Administer and monitor Customer Contracts Reporting.
- Custom reporting pre-population and analysis.
- Understanding and use of various Caterpillar on/off board technologies.
- Salesforce coordination and standardization.
- Attending Dealer/Customer meetings with Fleet Managers (online and in person).
- Actively participate in special projects.
Who are we looking for? We are looking for people who are open minded, excellent problem solvers and who have an ability to learn quickly. You will be motivated, hard-working, and will embrace change. Applicants will be on target to achieve a minimum of 2:2 honours degree level in a relevant discipline – Engineering (electrical, electronic, mechanical, design) and Computer Science.
Required Skills:
- Strong communication and inter-personal skills.
- Strong customer focus and analytical skills.
- Fluency in a European language would be an asset.
- Software knowledge is required: Outlook, Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of IT, Database, Salesforce, SAP, Tableau (Dashboards), Power BI, programming would be beneficial.
