Responsibilities
- Identifying, defining, and implementing integrated supply‑chain solutions and performance improvements, including building internal and external alliances to explore opportunities.
- Establishing effective linkages, partnerships, and best practices with business partners and internal functions.
- Investigating and incorporating industry benchmarks, metrics, and best practices to develop optimal supply chains for suppliers and product sets.
- Developing and analyzing data and information to identify and prioritize opportunities for improving performance and creating more cost‑effective supply chains, inventory utilization, and business partnerships.
- Leading Wear & Maintenance sourcing and scrap council processes, managing and encouraging standard work for the team, and leading efforts to streamline and improve processes within the organization.
- Leading ECR‑C capacity planning coordination efforts for all Wear and Maintenance facilities and engaging with the ICD strategy team to drive consistency and lessons learned throughout ICD.
Key Skills and Experience
- Analytical Thinking: Demonstrates strong knowledge and understanding of analytical methods to assess capacity, demand, and operational constraints across Wear & Maintenance facilities. Analyses data and trends to identify gaps, risks, and opportunities, supporting informed planning and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Cross‑Team Integration: Applies a deep understanding of cross‑functional collaboration by coordinating with Wear & Maintenance facilities and the ICD strategy team. Actively integrates input across teams to align priorities, share lessons learned, and drive consistency and alignment throughout ICD.
- Decision Making & Critical Thinking: Uses knowledge of decision‑making frameworks and critical thinking principles to evaluate capacity planning scenarios and operational trade‑offs. Exercises sound judgment to support decisions that balance short‑term needs with long‑term strategic objectives across multiple facilities.
- Project Management: Demonstrates knowledge and application of project management practices while coordinating ECR‑C capacity planning efforts across all Wear & Maintenance locations. Plans, organizes, and monitors activities to ensure alignment, timely execution, and effective coordination among stakeholders.
- Standard Operating Procedures (SOP): Applies knowledge and understanding of standard work and SOP principles to support consistent execution of capacity planning and operational processes. Reinforces disciplined processes and promotes the adoption of best practices to improve repeatability and operational efficiency across facilities.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in Wear or Maintenance Products (Undercarriage, Ground Engaging Tools, Metal Face Seals, Hose & Couplings, Fluids & Filters, Seals, Tubes and Hardware)
- Experience leading large projects
- Experience with aftermarket sourcing and/or supply chain
- Effective communicator to key stakeholders and business partners
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or Manufacturing, or equivalent through extensive professional experience
