Overview

As a Quality Engineer at Caterpillar in Desford, you ensure materials, processes and products meet quality standards across projects. You will audit, analyze quality data and support RCCA within a QMS framework, collaborating with internal teams and external partners. You’ll drive quality improvements and contribute to CPI initiatives in a regulated environment. Responsibilities

  • Perform audits across materials, processes and products to ensure conformance to quality standards and customer requirements
  • Review non-conformances, analyse trends and support RCCA with internal teams, suppliers and customers
  • Conduct measurement systems analysis and analyse quality data to identify issues, risks and improvement opportunities
  • Maintain quality system documentation and records within the QMS
  • Participate in internal and external audits and manage follow-up actions
  • Contribute to Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) focused on defect prevention and reducing variation and waste

Key requirements

  • degree or equivalent experience with demonstrated quality skills in a QMS environment
