Role Details and Key Responsibilities:
- As a Multi skilled Maintenance apprentice you will follow a structured programme and carry out appropriate training tasks required to attain a full multi skilled Maintenance apprenticeship, in Mechanical and Electrical engineering.
- Working with and learning from multi skilled maintenance engineers you will analyse, and fault find mechanical and electrical breakdowns quickly returning assets to service.
- You will carry out PPM schedules and complete work requests, project work and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Reactive and scheduled maintenance work is planned through the companies CMMS system.
- You will be involved with and support project work that brings the latest industry technology into Caterpillar.
- As part of the 42 month programme, you will be required to undertake extensive training both on the job and at college.
- You will be required to undertake academic qualifications to a minimum HNC level.

Required Skills and Behaviours:
- The entry requirements are Level 3 in Engineering.
- GCSE grades 4/C and above in Maths, English and STEM subjects.
- Enthusiastic individuals with a flexible approach to their work and a keen desire to progress personally and build a long career in a multi skilled Maintenance role.
- An inquisitive and enquiring mind along with a desire to learn from others.
- Excellent problem solving skills, with a calm methodical approach to tasks.
- Good time management.
- Excellent communication skills.

Salary: £23,043.67
