Material Planning Manager in Desford

As a Material Planning Manager, you would manage agreed-upon inventory levels to provide raw materials and components flow from the supply chain to the manufacturing facility.

What Will You Do:

• Managing the environment of the inventory stock room in line with requirements for each product
• Building a team – staffing, development, and performance management of materials management workers, ensuring a motivational professional atmosphere
• Building collaborative relationships both with internal partners and external stakeholders
• Managing a global supply base
• Defining and maintaining optimal inventory levels
• Performing inventory analysis and making recommendations for stock levels
• Coordinating maintenance and support of inventory management software.

What You Will Have:

• Degree of higher education or equivalent experience in related fields
• Excellent leadership skills and experience
• Ability to negotiate successfully across the organization and with external vendors and customers in a constructive and collaborative manner
• Ability to transform numerical data into business insight
• Great communication skills
• High adaptability to changing situations and a solution-oriented approach

Top Candidates Will Have:

• Experience in the automotive or manufacturing industry
• SAP working knowledge

What We Offer:

• Permanent Contract
• Salary: £52,500 to 65,500 annually
