Responsibilities
- Promote a safe, high‑performing workplace by identifying risks, ensuring compliance, and driving continuous improvement through Lean practices, RCCA, and PID tools.
- Plan and prioritise daily operations, adjusting staffing, monitoring KPIs, and improving performance across the section.
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting for processes, tooling, performance, and inventory, ensuring full safety and quality compliance.
- Lead and support a team of logistics operatives, coordinating daily tasks, providing coaching and training, and fostering a collaborative, improvement‑focused culture.
What You Can Demonstrate
- Working Knowledge – Problem Solving: Use tools like RCCA and PID to identify issues in logistics flow and drive effective fixes; assess risks, compare options, and prevent repeat problems.
- Planning and Organising: Prioritise workloads, anticipate bottlenecks, allocate resources smartly; break tasks into clear steps and adapt plans quickly when conditions shift.
- Analytical Thinking: Interpret logistics data, KPIs, and process trends to spot patterns and recommend improvements; evaluate options and base decisions on clear analysis.
- Effective Communication: Communicate clearly with logistics teams to ensure tasks, priorities, and safety expectations are understood.
What You May Have
- Working Knowledge of SAP is highly desirable to manage inventory accuracy, track material flow, and support data‑driven decisions.
- Basic working knowledge in logistics planning to anticipate demand, allocate resources, and maintain smooth daily operations.
