Salary/Grade: £60,320 - £75,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Location: Larne

The opportunity: FG Wilson, within Caterpillar's Electric Power Division, is growing, and has an opening for a Business Development Manager to lead a newly created Technical Sales and Application & Installation team. As Business Development Manager, you will develop and lead a newly created team focused on growing sales in Commercial/Infrastructure and Datacentre applications. You will provide strong commercial and technical support to our global sales organisation, ensuring that customer needs are understood and appropriate solutions developed.
What you will do:
- Lead a newly created team to enable sales growth across >500 kVA power generation product line.
- Work closely with customers, internal functions and external dealers to ensure customer needs are identified and understood.
- Ensure FG Wilson key sales growth initiatives related to data centres are delivered.
- Identify territory and/or product growth opportunities through engagement with global sales teams.
- Ensure customer solutions are developed and executed in a timely manner.
- Lead the coordination of customer technical requirements with engineering and operations teams to ensure customer needs are met.

Additional information: Travel up to 25% will be required for this position. This position is currently a hybrid in-office work model, requiring a 3-day weekly office presence onsite at our Larne office and remote work for the remaining days. However, work arrangements may be adjusted at any time based on business needs.
