We currently have an exciting opportunity for Graduates to join Caterpillar in Larne, Northern Ireland! A position has become available for a Graduate Engineer within our team situated at Larne. This is an excellent opportunity for you to play a key role within the Caterpillar Engineering team. New graduates are critical to the success of our business. The facility located in Larne is home to the Electric Power business where the team designs and manufactures Cat Power Solutions for key business sectors including data centres, construction, mining, healthcare, utility, and other industries.

Job duties and responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Support the development of concept designs under the guidance of senior engineers, helping ensure solutions meet client requirements.
  • Apply foundational engineering knowledge to assist with technical analysis, calculations, and design justification, with mentoring and review.
  • Assist in specification compliance activities, helping to verify that designs align with client needs, product performance targets, and engineering constraints.
