Hours: Full Time – 37.50
Contract: Permanent
Salary: £26,000 rising to £27,400 once fully competent

Responsibilities:
- Waste Management: Collect, sort, and dispose of waste materials in accordance with company policies and environmental regulations; monitor waste levels and ensure timely removal or recycling; maintain cleanliness and orderliness in waste disposal areas; follow standard work procedures to perform safe and timely removal and segregation of site waste.
- Machinery Operation: Operate waste processing machinery safely and efficiently; conduct routine checks and basic maintenance on equipment; report faults or issues promptly to the maintenance team.
- Facility Works: Perform general repairs across the site (e.g., floor repairs, installations, painting, movement of materials); support upkeep of communal areas (cleaning, painting, basic refurbishments); assist with site inspections and ensure compliance with health and safety standards (examples: legionella prevention cycles, Oil sump audits, fluid and oil stock take); control of site spill procedures including response and removal of hazardous waste; use the agility CMMS system to receive and complete tasks.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with operatives and departments to ensure smooth operations; participate in training and development activities; support emergency response and business continuity plans when necessary.
Qualifications: Initiative and strong communication, interpersonal skills.
