Join our Stockton facility as a Facility Trainer where you will play a key role in delivering, developing and embedding training that supports safety, lean principles and operational excellence across the site. Working closely with operations, Health & Safety and leadership teams, you will help ensure employees have the skills, knowledge and behaviours needed to work safely, consistently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver effective safety, job instructional and simulated environment training, including inductions for new starters.
- Create, review and continuously improve training materials and programmes, integrating foundational Lean principles to support consistent and effective learning.
- Provide one‑to‑one and team‑based coaching to reinforce learning, promote safety best practice and support capability development, including apprentices and developing employees.
- Support leadership teams with improvement and project activities, including contributing to Rapid Improvement workshops and reinforcing Lean ways of working across the facility.
- Monitor, analyse and review training data and records to identify skill gaps, training needs and compliance risks, ensuring training processes meet required standards, particularly for new starters.
- Work collaboratively across departments, Health & Safety and external training providers, and communicate confidently with employees at all levels to support training delivery and site initiatives.

- IOSH Managing Safely Qualification: Supporting the embedding of safe working practices through training and reinforcing safety‑first behaviours (e.g. IOSH or equivalent).
- Manufacturing Environment Awareness: Allows training to reflect real shop‑floor activities, making learning practical, relevant and immediately applicable.
- Continuous Improvement Exposure: Helping apply Lean or CI principles to improve training effectiveness and support better ways of working.
