Graduate Scheme Discipline: Supply Chain

Location: Stafford

Salary: £35,833, £1,500 Sign on Bonus, 10% Annual Bonus, Share Scheme, Pension and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays).

What experiences can we offer you? During this two-year programme, you will be given the opportunity to experience various aspects of the full end to end supply chain, designed to provide you with a solid foundation in global manufacturing. Key focus areas include:

  • Advanced Supply Chain Analytics – leveraging data-driven insights to optimize end-to-end supply chain performance
  • Transportation & Freight Operations – managing carrier relationships, cost control, and delivery efficiency
  • Order & Demand Planning – aligning customer orders with demand forecasts to ensure product availability
  • Forecasting & Predictive Modelling – utilizing statistical tools to anticipate market trends and demand fluctuations
  • Production Scheduling & Capacity Planning – optimizing manufacturing timelines and resource allocation
  • Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) – strengthening supplier partnerships through strategic collaboration, performance monitoring, and streamlined procurement and fulfilment processes

After successful completion of the programme, you will be supported to find a suitable position within the global organisation, and we will continue to provide you the training and support you need to be successful at Caterpillar.

Who are we looking for? We’re looking for people who can show us a highly participative working style, and who thrive in a team of committed professionals. Great analytical, presentation skills and an ability to communicate at all levels. You should be on track or have achieved a 2:1 in one of the following subjects:

  • Business
  • Procurement
  • Supply Chain Management
  • Economics
  • Engineering

In addition, a driving license is essential for this position.
