The Opportunity: As the Supply Chain Planning Manager, this role sits within the Logistics planning section of the Supply Chain. You will lead teams in projects and supervise a team in Supply Chain Planning to ensure safety and maximise efficiency in quality, velocity, and cost. The individual is responsible for development, testing, and implementation of the Plan for every part supporting NPI (New Product Introduction) and continuous improvement efforts in incorporating Supply Chain performance for Fabrications and Subassemblies.
Job Duties / Responsibilities:
- Monitor and improve shop floor safety whilst eliminating unsafe processes.
- Drive safety first culture and ensure thorough accident and near miss investigations are completed and corrective actions taken.
- Schedule and prioritise constrained resources.
- Lead the Team in gathering and analysing data on packaging BIQ, performance, and potential improvements.
- Lead Team through all stages of NPI end to end planning and processes.
- Implement, Manage & Coach Lean Manufacturing with Team Members.
- Drive root cause corrective action projects and drive continuous improvement.
- Communicate, update, monitor and audit PQVC (People, Quality, Velocity & Cost) metrics continuously.
- Develop material flow plans for all material from suppliers and made in works.
Skills, Experience & Qualifications You Will Have:
- Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Understanding the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision.
- Data Gathering & Analysis: Knowledge of data gathering and analysis tools, techniques, and processes.
- Distribution Requirements Planning (DRP): Knowledge of the process for systematically managing distribution of inventory.
- Inventory Management - MFG: Knowledge of processes and methods of inventory management.
- Planning and Organizing: Ability to plan and organize both time and resources.
- Supplier Management - MFG: Knowledge of processes and methods to effectively manage business relationships with suppliers.
- Supply Chain Management - MFG: Knowledge of functions, principles, and techniques used in supply chain management.

- Proven leadership experience within a Supply Chain / Logistics environment.
- Strong knowledge of Supply Chain principles.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to coach, develop, and engage others while fostering a positive safety culture.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and familiarity with tools such as Visio, Teamcenter, AutoCAD, and Creo.
- Experience working in fast-paced logistics or warehouse environments.
