As a Logistics Planning Support Technician, you will support the coordination and improvement of logistics planning activities across Building Construction Products, Leicester, with a key focus on Fleet operations. You will work in a fast‑paced environment, managing high‑volume data and invoice activity, ensuring processes are accurate, efficient, and aligned to Caterpillar Production System (CPS) principles.
What You Will Do
- Support the development and improvement of logistics processes to enhance safety, efficiency, and consistency.
- Manage and analyse high‑volume data and invoices, ensuring accuracy, identifying discrepancies, and minimising financial and business risk.
- Support Continuous Improvement (CI) activities, resolving day‑to‑day issues and driving practical, sustainable improvements with the logistics fleet department.
- Work across teams to support logistics planning and Fleet activity, managing competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment e.g. breakdowns, servicing, invoicing and quotations.
- Create, update, and audit Standard Work documentation in line with CPS and CQMS standards.
