The Role

  • Provides timely and accurate financial record keeping and reporting as directed by management with supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining financial records in accordance with GAAP and organizational standards.
  • Posting entries, verifying and reconciling input to financial reporting systems.
  • Performing balance sheet and P&L reconciliations.
  • Research and resolve financial statement discrepancies, with supervision, by working with other departments.

Degree Requirement

  • Be part qualified or possess a recognised accounting qualification such as ACCA, ACA, or CIMA.

  • Foundational experience in accounting, such as supporting month-end processes, preparing reports, assisting with reconciliations, or working with financial data in a business setting

  • Accounting: Knowledge of accounting methods, processes, and tools; ability to maintain and prepare financial statements and reports using accounting methods and processes.
  • Financial Record Keeping: Knowledge of financial record keeping processes, methods, and tools; ability to maintain accurate and thorough records of financial transactions.

Treasury Experience

Top Candidates Will Have Experience In:

  • Foundational experience in supporting treasury operations including liquidity planning, bank reconciliations, and fund transfers
  • Skilled in foreign currency exchange, multi-currency accounting, and FX revaluation processes

Global Collaboration

  • Proven ability to work seamlessly across international teams, time zones, and cultural contexts
  • Excellent communicator who fosters clarity and cooperation among cross-functional stakeholders

Team-Oriented Mindset

  • Highly collaborative, thrives in group environments and contributes to a supportive team culture
  • Builds strong relationships across finance, operations, and business units to streamline processes

Project Management Experience

  • Successfully led or supported accounting and finance-related projects from initiation to completion
  • Brings structured organization, timeline awareness, and analytical thinking to deliver results on complex projects

Adaptability & Initiative

  • Comfortable navigating change and ambiguity, with a proactive attitude toward problem-solving
  • Eager to take ownership of tasks and grow within the role and wider organization

Job Title: Associate Accountant

Salary: £33,566.00 – £43,636.00 (Dependent on experience)

Contract: Permanent

Hours: In office Monday – Friday, full time 37.5 hours.
