The Opportunity:

What you Will Do:
- Prepare and perform critical analysis on complex, material tax compliance and provision computations utilizing tax technical rules and business facts.
- Interact with internal and external business partners to apply business facts to technical rules and support tax managers on tax implications.
- Lead projects related to process improvements, implementation of controls, and supporting global tax initiatives.
- Research and analyze tax regulations to document tax positions, optimise enterprise tax impact, and model tax impacts of proposed legislation with oversight by management.
- Analyse and develop responses to support tax authority inquiries with oversight by management.
What you Have:
- Tax Management: Knowledge of tax laws, organisational tax practices, obligations; ability to manage organisation tax related issues.
- Experience in UK Corporation Tax Management of annual UK CT compliance cycle (Capital Allowances analysis, Group & Loss Relief, CIR, Debt Cap review).
- Manages tax risks and BRR, Corporate tax payment on account and tax analysis.
- Manages Senior Accounting Officer (SAO) compliance.
- Tax Operations: Knowledge of tax practices and regulations; ability to review and file local tax returns.
- Tax Regulations: Knowledge of UK tax procedures and regulations; ability to adhere to tax regulations when filing forms as they pertain to a particular business or industry.
- Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Understanding the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving, and process management & improvement skills.
- Effective Communication: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviours.
- Strong communication skills, accountability, organisational skills, and good judgment.
- Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognising, anticipating, and resolving organisational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.
- Financial and Accounting Systems: Knowledge of functions, features and capabilities of financial and accounting systems; ability to use financial and accounting applications specific to the organisation.
- A good understanding of finance and business processes in global organisations.
- Research Analysis: Knowledge of the concepts, methodologies and methods of research analysis; ability to locate, interpret and evaluate research findings compiled and documented by others.
Top Candidates Will Also Have:
- ACA/CTA or equivalent qualification.
- UK GAAP tax accounting knowledge and skills, with some knowledge of US GAAP.
- Experience of non-US direct tax compliance requirements including tax returns and transfer pricing is an added strength but not required.
- Prior Pillar 2 knowledge is not a requirement.
- Strong knowledge of M365 and Onesource desirable.
- Collaborative, proactive, team-oriented personality with the ability to build and foster relationships with internal and external business partners.
Additional Information:
