The Role: Supports a team typically comprised of sales, technical support, application experts, and product support field personnel to achieve goals to drive increased customer loyalty throughout the designated industry.

What You Will Do:

  • Deliver business plan sales and market share targets for the company products in a given industry segment or market.
  • Develop sales and marketing plan and manage merchandising plans to achieve business plan targets for company products and services.
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction through management of product and commercial issues.
  • Leading the selling opportunities identification, customer satisfaction improvement and business relationship enhancement.

Skills Required:

  • Customer Focus: Knowledge of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions and ability to leverage that information in creating customized customer solutions.
  • Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of the organization’s industry group, trends, directions, major issues, regulatory considerations, and trendsetters; ability to apply industry knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.
  • Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision‐making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.
  • Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
  • Negotiating: Knowledge of successful negotiation concepts and techniques; ability to negotiate successfully across the organization and with external vendors and clients in a constructive and collaborative manner.
  • Relationship Management: Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers.
  • Account Management: Knowledge of account management; ability to manage day‐to‐day activities, providing services and support to existing clients.
  • Value Selling: Knowledge of the principles and practices for selling products, technology and services; ability to provide overall product/service "value" and to differentiate support offerings that address clearly understood customer needs.

Top Candidates Will Bring:

  • Experience and understanding of sales and marketing of asset financing and aftermarket solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting the sales and marketing of asset‐based financing and aftermarket solutions, with a solid understanding of how financial products enable equipment acquisition, lifecycle management, and customer retention.
  • Experience in developing and maintaining strong customer, dealer, and Caterpillar business partner relationships while achieving business plan objectives.
  • Proven experience within the financial products market (banking, leasing, or finance).
  • Ability to assess high‐level customer credit profiles through interpretation of financial statements.

What will Caterpillar do for you?

  • Salary: £68,543.00 - £80,000.00
  • Contract: Permanent.
  • Hours: In office / in territory Monday - Friday, full time 37.5 hours.
  • Benefits: 24 days annual leave increasing with service to 30 days, 25% performance bonus (Paid quarterly), Green Car Scheme, Share Scheme, Non‐contributory Pension Scheme 10%, Private Medical Insurance, Dental and Vision Scheme, Life Insurance.
