Salary Grade: £41,593 + depending on experience

Location: Peterborough, UK

The Opportunity: Are you an experienced payroll professional eager to take charge of end‑to‑end payroll processing? We are seeking a skilled and detail‑oriented individual to manage our comprehensive payroll operations and services. What You Will Do:

  • Managing the payroll cycle, from data collection to disbursement
  • Creating and maintaining payroll reports and records
  • Ensuring payroll accuracy and compliance with regulations
  • Assisting in payroll audits
  • Enforcing internal payroll controls
  • Addressing employee payroll inquiries

What You Will Have:

  • Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Understanding the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision.

  • Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
  • Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.
  • Planning and Organizing: Knowledge of the process of planning and arranging tasks and resources; ability to plan and organize both time and resources to get things completed while structuring and maintaining work in a systematic and highly methodical way.
  • Payroll Management: Knowledge of payroll policy and methods; ability to use tools, techniques and processes to manage employee payroll and benefits operations.
  • Payroll Administration: Knowledge of policies, operations and standards related to payroll; ability to establish, implement, and administer policies, procedures and systems for confidentially calculating, preparing and distributing payrolls.

Not essential but desirable skills:

  • Knowledge of Germany or Slovak payroll processes and relevant legislation.
  • Additional language skills are a plus.
