The Opportunity: As a Sprayer within the Paint Plant Quality Pre-Delivery Inspection team, you are responsible for ensuring our internal and external customers receive the highest possible quality for their Building Construction Products (BCP). As a Paint Sprayer, you will be working as part of the Quality and Spray team. You will utilise lean manufacturing tools and techniques whilst operating to defined 'Takt Times' and schedules. This role offers the opportunity to work Monday to Thursday 1630 to 0230 - Subject to change.
What you will do:
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking, as necessary.
- Mix, apply 2K paint systems according to manufacturer specifications using and maintain equipment.
- Apply primers and topcoats to achieve a smooth and durable finish.
- Inspect finished products for quality and make any necessary touch‑ups or corrections.
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Champion 5S programme and other business improvement initiatives.
What You Can Demonstrate:
- Familiarity with functionality of spray systems.
- Knowledge of different paint types.
- Knowledge of Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) and Control Of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) systems.
- Ability to change equipment e.g., tips and filters.
- The ability to read, comprehend and follow verbal and written instructions/procedures.
- Ability to work well with a team environment and possess a flexible attitude.
- You will possess effective communication skills to communicate with various levels of the organisation.
- Willing to undertake training/learning as required.
- Must be prepared to work a multi‑shift pattern.
Top Candidates Will Have:
- PDI / Spray experience.
- Previous experience working in a lean environment.
- Strong customer focus.
- Attention to detail to meet quality standards.
- Ability to prioritise and organise sequence of work.

Salary: Starting £28,969 rising when role triggers are met to £30,450 + 20% shift premium
