The Opportunity
Do you enjoy coordinating complex production activities and keeping operations running smoothly? As a Production Scheduler, you will play a key role in planning, coordinating, and controlling production schedules to ensure on-time delivery to our Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) customers globally. Acting as a central point of contact, you will collaborate closely with OEM customers and cross-functional teams, including operations, planning, transport, and quality, to resolve scheduling challenges, optimise capacity and inventory, and drive continuous improvement.
As a Production Scheduler you are accountable for, but not limited to:
- Drive production schedules to achieve on-time delivery, proactively managing capacity, inventory, and logistics constraints.
- Act as the primary OEM contact, building strong relationships and ensuring effective, timely communication across the supply chain.
- Identify and resolve scheduling issues, using root cause analysis to improve efficiency and reduce disruption.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve product and process challenges and meet business and customer requirements.
- Coordinate production priorities, ensuring alignment across teams to support delivery, flow, and operational efficiency.
- Monitor performance metrics, including order status, inventory, and Customer Shipping Performance (CSP), using insights to drive continuous improvement.
