Job Summary: A fantastic opportunity has become available for a Category Management Project Lead to join our Sales, Marketing, Servicing & Parts (SMSP) Aftermarket team. As the Category Management Project Lead you will be responsible for ownership of multiple categories of parts where you will identify, evaluate, and develop initiatives that drive sales growth objectives and profitability. Some of the key areas include Products, Price, Promotion and Place and ensuring our network has sufficient sales training and support for successful implementation. Leading research of growth and expansion opportunities, project leadership and provide expertise in the development and implementation for the lifecycle of our products and services.
Additional Info: Travel: 10% global. This position requires working onsite five days a week.
What You Will Do:
- Be an extension of the sales team to help grow category sales.
- Analyzing the business objective and opportunities to develop and align the marketing strategies.
- Conducting market/competitive research to identify new opportunities and industry trends.
- Establishing metrics to monitor and review the effectiveness of existing marketing strategies; suggesting necessary interventions for improvement.
- Maintaining effective internal communications in the marketing department to discuss and align the marketing strategy to the changing organizational scenarios.
