About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Childcare Level 3 Early Years Educator to join our team at Cosy Corner Day Nursery – Oxton.
The nursery is a family‑run nursery with an outstanding reputation in the local community.
This part‑time role offers 3, 4 or full‑time days per week (24‑40 hours).

Qualifications & Experience
You must hold a minimum Level 3 Childcare qualification and have previous experience working with children, ideally as an Early Years Educator, Nursery Practitioner, Nursery Assistant or Nursery Nurse.
Applicants should have at least 6 months experience working at Level 3 or above, be energetic and innovative, able to work to high standards, use their initiative, be in tune with a child’s interests and capture teachable moments, inspire awe and wonder, take responsibility for children’s learning development, and monitor, assess and record outcomes.
They should be able to evaluate and plan challenging yet fun next steps.
Additional Information
Except for occasional training, you are not required to work evenings or weekends.
The setting is closed on all bank holidays and on Christmas Eve.
The nursery also closes over Christmas until the first working day in the New Year.

The successful applicant will need to provide evidence of their ‘right to work in the UK’, undertake a DBS, and provide satisfactory work references before they start their contract.
