- Monday to Friday, 8.30am-4.30pm
- 35 paid hours per week, with a one-hour unpaid lunch break on site
- No evenings, weekends or bank holidays
- Christmas closure, including Christmas Eve
What makes this role different?

What will you be doing?

- Catering safely for allergies and individual dietary requirements
- Managing food preparation, kitchen cleanliness and food safety records
- Keeping the kitchen organised, clean and running smoothly
Who are we looking for?
We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys cooking, takes pride in their work and can confidently manage a busy kitchen.
Previous experience in a nursery isn't essential! We'd welcome applications from cooks working in cafés, schools, care settings, restaurants or other catering environments.
You’ll need to be organised, reliable and confident preparing meals from scratch, with a good understanding of food hygiene and safety.
A Level 2 Food Hygiene qualification would be an advantage, but training can be provided.
