A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Level 3 Qualified Early Years Educator to join the team at Altrincham Day Nursery. Opened in January 2025, as the Nursery increases in numbers we are seeking a qualified Early Years Educator to join on a part-time permanent basis, all year round. If you're an individual who is enthusiastic about making a positive impact on children's lives and can lead and inspire a dynamic team, then this is for you.
This is a part-time role for 30 hours a week over 3 days; Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. However, other part-time hours will be considered on those days and full-time roles are available. The nursery is well supported as part of a local group of nurseries already known and well run in the area. This is an exciting time to be part of something special, with the opportunity to really shape the role to your skills and true passions. The nursery group prides themselves on creating a nurturing environment where every child's potential is recognised and celebrated.
To apply for this role, you must hold a minimum Level 3 Childcare qualification and have previous experience working with children, ideally as an Early Years Educator, Nursery Practitioner, Nursery Assistant or Nursery Nurse.

- Nursery closed on Christmas Eve
- Except for occasional training, you are not required to work evenings or weekends. The setting is closed on all bank holidays, and we also do not open on Christmas Eve. The nursery closes over Christmas until the first working day in the New Year.

- Are you qualified in Early Years at Level 3 or above?
- Are you an energetic and innovative individual who enjoys working in a creative setting?
- Are you able to work to high standards and use your initiative as required by the job?
- Are you in tune with a child’s interests and able to capture those “teachable” moments, while inspiring awe and wonder in each individual child to extend their learning and development outcomes?
- Do you have experience of taking responsibility for key children’s learning development and can monitor, assess, and record children’s outcomes? Can you evaluate and plan challenging yet fun next steps?
