Travel: Up to 10%

The Opportunity: Performs regular and simple maintenance and infrastructure support activities needed in a manufacturing plant.

Primary Roles/Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Performing or assisting in routine maintenance, construction and installation, and equipment validation work
  • Planning Routine Maintenance with Equipment SME’s and OEM’s
  • Contractor Management, Ensuring safe working practices, PTW and LOTO
  • Annual service level agreement renewal and management responsibility
  • Monitoring and maintaining parts and tools inventory for infrastructure components and services
  • Managing Plant Indirect Inventory, maintain systems, stock accuracy and max min levels to ensure parts are readily available for retrieval
  • Serving as first line of support for building service problems and Maint work requests
  • Assisting facility engineers and supporting manufacturing, Maintenance and other related departments
  • Undertake Capital Project Management – Build the business Case from Justification through execution
  • Understanding of PUWER, LOLER, LOTO, Hot Work, Red Tag, COSHH
  • Procurement of new Parts and reconditioned service repair equipment

Degree Requirement: Degree or equivalent experience desired.

  • Service Excellence: Knowledge of customer service concepts and techniques; ability to meet or exceed customer needs and expectations.
  • Plant Facilities Management: Knowledge of processes, methodologies and techniques used to manage plant facilities.
  • Troubleshooting Technical Problems: Knowledge of troubleshooting approaches, tools and techniques; ability to anticipate, detect and resolve technical problems in a manufacturing environment.

Top Candidates will have:

  • Knowledge of Maintenance requirements of Heat treatment equipment
  • NEBOSH/IOSH Certification
  • Knowledge of PUWER/LOLER/CORGI/IEE/CDM regulations and other applicable legislation
  • Worked within the installation and maintenance function, responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of large or multiple facility processes.
  • Monitors processes and procedures for developing and maintaining building security to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Identifies and documents specific problems and resolution alternatives (Fault Analysis).
  • Excellent PC, presentation and communication skills.
