MWM offers energy solutions based on high-performance gas engines, used in highly efficient combined heat and power (CHP) plants for decentralized energy generation. Our customized cogeneration power plants and integrated solutions support our customers in making their energy supply efficient, flexible, and future-proof. In 1871, Carl Benz laid the basis for MWM by founding the “Mechanical Workshop“ in Mannheim. Today, the MWM brand is part of Caterpillar Energy Solutions and combines more than 150 years of experience in the development and optimization of gas engines and generator sets for natural gas, biogas, and other special gases.
Your responsibilities as part of our team:
- Act as a subject matter expert for our product and service portfolio, supporting go-to-market activities and sales initiatives
- Deliver product demonstrations, customer consultations, and seminar sessions to consultancy firms, customers and external stakeholders
- Analyze customer needs, product performance, and operational efficiency to identify opportunities for business growth and continuous improvement
- Gather customer and consultant’s feedback and market insights to support product enhancements and new product development initiatives
- Present and participate at industry conferences and be an active member of several industry societies
- Manage and continuously improve marketing technology tools and systems to drive business performance and customer engagement
- Partner with cross-functional teams to define priorities, align timelines, and develop the marketing technology roadmap
- Monitor market trends, industry developments, and customer requirements to support strategic decision-making and growth opportunities
Your profile – what you should bring:
- Successfully completed degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- Strong customer-focused mindset with the ability to build trusted relationships and deliver value-driven solutions
- Experience translating customer needs into effective business and technical recommendations
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with sound decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
- Proven ability to collaborate, negotiate, and achieve mutually beneficial outcomes
- Strong technical aptitude and the ability to resolve complex challenges through practical solutions
- Very good German and English language skills (C1 level). Another language is a plus

- This role requires being in the office five days a week
- This external facing role implies ability to travel 50-75%
