The Opportunity: As a Shipping Coordinator, you will manage afternoon shift operations, ensuring machines are shipped safely, accurately and on time. You will coordinate shipments, oversee loading activities, and work closely with internal teams, drivers and suppliers to keep operations running efficiently. Your role is key to delivering quality, compliance and customer commitments.
As a Shipping Coordinator, you are accountable for, but not limited to:
- Coordinate machine shipments, including creating certificates, booking transport, and processing transactions.
- Oversee loading operations, ensuring safe and efficient movement across the shipping platform.
- Manage shipping transactions, including RTS processing, invoicing and maintaining accurate documentation.
- Support containerisation activities, working with the Container Team Leader to deliver daily plans.
- Support aftermarket kitting activities, including material picking and packaging, and coordinate with internal teams to manage urgent and emergency shipments.
- Coordinate site logistics, including managing drivers, resolving haulier queries, and liaising with stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure all activity meets Caterpillar standards, SOX requirements and retention guidelines.
