We are looking for an experienced General Manager to join this 4 star 1 rosette country house in Oxfordshire with a salary package of up to £36k.
About the Hotel
The hotel is based in Burford and is a highly rated 4-star, 1 rosette traditional English country house hotel in the Cotswolds. The hotel has 21 beautiful bedrooms which are individually designed, a cosy bar with local ales on tap and a 1 Rosette restaurant that can accommodate 80+ guests. Due to the hotel's beautiful location, it hosts a number of weddings, functions and special occasions throughout the year.
Working as a General Manager
As a General Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the operation and the management of a highly competent team, ensuring the hotel continues to achieve high standards and that legal and statutory obligations are met. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the industry and for providing the ultimate customer experience. Good food knowledge, excellent hosting skills and the ability to motivate and lead a team is essential. This role is very hands-on, so a flexible approach and the ability to manage priorities is a must.

- Ensuring the hotel payroll is reflective of current business trends.
- Promoting a prompt, professional appearance to clients and customers.
