We are looking for a Primary Chef/Cook to join our team based at Melksham Oak Academy. The job will be producing 100 primary meals which are then transported to 3 local primary schools. Your role will be ensuring our future generations receive nutritionally balanced and tasty food. This role is working term-time only and no weekends so is great for those looking for flexibility.
The role:
- £13.00 per hour
- 25 hours per week working Monday – Friday
- Term-time only – working 42.6 weeks per year
Your key responsibilities:
- To prepare, cook and present food to the standards required by Caterlink and the client.
- To ensure that all Food Safety and Health and Safety procedures are followed and all mandatory paperwork is completed accurately and with integrity.
- To ensure that the company’s reputation for excellent food and service is enhanced with the client and customers and expectations are consistently exceeded.
- To support your line manager with the day-to-day running of the location including managing inventories, monitoring budgets, and implementing action plans.
