We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Catering Manager to lead our catering team at Sullivan Upper School. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of the food services and ensure pupils are provided with nutritionally balanced, delicious, and appealing meals every day. As this role involves overseeing food operations across multiple outlets on site, your ability to efficiently manage diverse service points will be key to your success. Your primary goal will be to develop and oversee a menu that not only meets nutritional standards but also excites young people.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Multi-Outlet Management: Efficiently manage and coordinate food service across multiple outlets on site, ensuring consistent quality, presentation, and speed of service at every point of sale.
  • Food Quality: Prepare, cook, and present food to the standards required by Caterlink and the client.
  • Compliance: Ensure that the location meets statutory and company requirements for Health and Safety, Food Safety, and environmental legislation and procedures.
  • Reputation: Ensure that the company's reputation for excellent food and service is enhanced with the client and customers, and that expectations are consistently exceeded.
  • Operations & Finance: Oversee the day-to-day running of the location and supervise teams, including managing inventories, monitoring budgets, and implementing action plans.
  • Client Relations: Act as the main point of contact for our client in your school, ensuring that regular adjustments and improvements are both recommended and implemented.
  • Performance: Communicate regularly with your line manager to monitor KPIs and financial targets to ensure these are achieved.
  • Team Leadership: Support and train our teams, leading from the front to make sure everyone can excel in their role by ensuring all training is completed and performance is managed.
