Job Overview
We are hiring for a Chef at Coop Academy Swinton who wants to ensure our future generations are provided with nutritionally balanced and tasty food.
This role is working term‑time only and no weekends, making it ideal for those seeking flexibility.
Compensation and Schedule
- 35 hours per week
- Monday‑Friday, term‑time only
- 38 weeks per year
Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook, and present food to the standards required by Caterlink and the client.
- Ensure that all Food Safety and Health and Safety procedures are followed, and that all mandatory paperwork is completed accurately and with integrity.
- Enhance the company’s reputation for excellent food and service, consistently exceeding client and customer expectations.
- Support the line manager with the day‑to‑day running of the location, including managing inventories, monitoring budgets, and implementing action plans.
