Caterlink is the education sector catering specialist. For over 20 years, the company has delivered fresh food solutions to pupils and staff at Primary Schools, Secondary Schools, and Colleges across the UK. The company caters to more than 1,000,000 meals a week. Our "Fresh Food Policy" is the foundation of our success and growth in the market, coupled with a desire to truly deliver on the promises we make to our clients and support our site-based teams.

We are hiring for a Relief Chef/Catering Manager to provide cover in the areas of CAMBS, BEDS & Peterborough to support our existing site-based teams. This role is working term-time only and involves no weekends, making it ideal for those seeking flexibility. This role is mobile-based, so you will need your own transport.

  • Β£20.00 per hour
  • 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
  • Term-time only

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, cook, and present food to the standards required by Caterlink and the client.
  • Ensure that our locations meet statutory and company requirements concerning Health and Safety, Food Safety, and environmental legislation and procedures.
  • Enhance the company’s reputation for excellent food and service with clients and customers, consistently exceeding expectations.
  • Support the day-to-day running of the location, supervise teams, manage inventories, monitor budgets, and implement action plans.
