For over 20 years, the company has delivered fresh food solutions to pupils and staff at Primary Schools, Secondary Schools, and Colleges across the UK. The company caters to more than 1,000,000 meals a week. Our "Fresh Food Policy" underpins our success and growth, along with our commitment to fulfilling our promises to clients and supporting our site-based teams.
We are hiring a Catering Manager at Temple Herdewyke who wants to ensure our future generations are provided with nutritionally balanced and tasty food. This role is term-time only with no weekends, offering great flexibility.
- Salary - Competitive
- 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday
- Term-time only
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Preparing, cooking, and presenting food to the standards required by Caterlink and the client
- Ensuring the location meets statutory and company requirements for Health and Safety, Food Safety, and environmental legislation and procedures
- Enhancing the company’s reputation for excellent food and service with clients and customers, consistently exceeding expectations
- Managing the day-to-day operations of the location, supervising teams, managing inventories, monitoring budgets, and implementing action plans
- Serving as the main point of contact for the client at your school, recommending and implementing improvements
- Communicating regularly with your line manager to monitor KPIs and financial targets to ensure achievement
- Supporting and training team members, leading from the front to ensure all training is completed and performance managed
