Overview
We are hiring a Chef Manager in Bradford to ensure nutritionally balanced and tasty meals for future generations.
The role works term‑time only and does not require weekends, offering flexibility.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook, and present food to the standards required by Caterlink and the client.
- Ensure the location meets statutory and company requirements for Health and Safety, Food Safety, and environmental legislation.
- Enhance the company's reputation for excellent food and service by exceeding client and customer expectations.
- Manage day‑to‑day operations of the location, supervising teams, managing inventories, monitoring budgets, and implementing action plans.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the client at the school, recommending and implementing regular adjustments and improvements.
- Communicate regularly with line manager to monitor KPIs and financial targets, ensuring they are achieved.
- Support, train, and lead teams, ensuring all training is completed and performance is managed.
Compensation and Hours
£27,000 per annum; 40 hours per week, Monday‑Friday, term‑time only (39 weeks per year).
