Introduction
Acorn by Synergie is recruiting an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Truck Driver to join a busy manufacturing business on a temporary to permanent basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with a valid Counterbalance Forklift licence who are looking for long-term, full-time employment with an immediate start. You'll play a key role in supporting production by ensuring materials are loaded, unloaded, and moved safely throughout the site.
Key Duties
- Operate a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently.
- Offload deliveries and store goods correctly.
- Issue raw materials and packaging to production teams.
- Load and unload vehicles as required.
- Support manufacturing operations with the movement of materials.
- Maintain high housekeeping standards, ensuring work areas remain safe, clean, and organised.
- Follow all health and safety procedures and company policies.
Requirements
- Valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence.
- Previous experience in a similar FLT, warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing role.
- Ability to work a rotating day and night shift pattern.
- Reliable with a strong awareness of health and safety.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Available for an immediate start.
Hours & Pay
- 4 days on / 4 days off / 4 nights on rotating shift pattern.
- Day shifts: 6am-6pm.
- Night shifts: 6pm-6am.
- £13.06-£13.66 per hour.
