We are currently recruiting for an experienced Repairs Planner to join a busy Property Services team, coordinating responsive repairs and maintenance across a social housing portfolio. This is an excellent opportunity for a housing professional with strong repairs planning and scheduling experience to join an established team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage tenant/resident repair enquiries and assess repair requirements
- Schedule and coordinate repairs, appointments and operative diaries
- Allocate works to operatives and contractors
- Liaise with residents, contractors and internal teams
- Manage customer expectations and resolve enquiries at first point of contact where possible
- Monitor workloads, capacity and repair timescales
- Maintain accurate records using housing management, repairs and CRM systems
- Escalate complex repairs, compliance and health & safety issues
- Work to agreed KPIs, SLAs and customer service standards
Ideal Candidate:
- Essential: Previous experience within social housing, housing associations, local authority housing or housing repairs
- Experience as a Repairs Planner, Repairs Scheduler, Maintenance Planner, Repairs Coordinator or similar
- Strong knowledge of responsive repairs and housing maintenance
- Experience scheduling operatives, managing diaries and coordinating appointments
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
- Experience using housing repairs, scheduling or CRM systems
- Ability to manage competing priorities and work to deadlines and targets
Pay & Benefits:
- £20 per hour Umbrella
