Job Title: Town Planner

Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a well-established, award-winning planning-led practice with the appointment of a Town Planner.
The practice brings together town planners, architects, designers and landscape architects, providing an integrated approach to development from concept through to completion.
The successful candidate will join a friendly and professional team working on a varied range of projects, including residential development, barn conversions, renewable energy, commercial schemes and tourism projects. The role will provide plenty of variety, with the opportunity to work on challenging and interesting planning projects.
The Role
We are looking for a proactive, enthusiastic and client-focused Town Planner with at least 2 years’ experience within a planning role.
You will ideally have:
- A planning degree or relevant planning qualification
- At least 2 years’ planning experience
- Experience dealing with a range of planning applications and development types
- Strong communication and client-facing skills
- A proactive and enthusiastic approach
- RTPI membership would be desirable, but is not essentialThe company is also happy to support candidates working towards RTPI chartership.
