Job description:
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated CB FLT Driver / Stores Operative for a client based in Stafford Park. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of factory operations and the ability to handle various materials. Suitable candidates must have a valid UK drivers licence.
The hours will be Monday – Thursday 7am-4.30pm and Friday 7.30am-1.30pm
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a forklift truck to transport goods to designated locations
- Load and unload materials, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Assist with inventory management and organisation.
- Perform basic maintenance checks and report any issues
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations at all times
Skills
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required for loading and unloading materials.
- Competence in operating forklifts safely and efficiently.
- Strong materials handling skills to ensure safe transport of goods.
