A large SEN School in St Albans is seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant for a long term to permanent post.

A background in Schools SEN support, Community and Care or Youth Worker
Be flexible, inclusive, able to work with a range of special needs
Able to work 1-1 with students, building rapport and feeding back to teachers
Good knowledge of Safeguarding in Schools
Enthusiastic, motivated, with good communication skills and is a team player
PECS/Makaton/Signalong/Team Teach or any SEN specific training is desirable but not essential
