We are recruiting for a Sales Administrator to join a well-established and growing trade-only supplier of packaging solutions. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and detail-focused individual who enjoys working in a busy environment and providing high levels of customer service.

You will support the Sheeting Department with order processing, customer enquiries, supplier coordination, stock administration and general sales support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process customer orders accurately and efficiently
  • Raise delivery notes to support the smooth dispatch of customer orders
  • Respond to customer enquiries by phone and email in a friendly and professional manner
  • Provide customers with updates on order progress and delivery times
  • Liaise with suppliers regarding the availability and delivery of raw materials
  • Maintain accurate stock records and highlight low-stock or slow-moving items
  • Update Excel spreadsheets for stock tracking, internal reporting and performance analysis
  • Support the wider team with general administrative duties as required

Skills and Experience

  • Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
  • Confident and professional communication skills, both by phone and email
  • The ability to prioritise workloads and remain calm in a busy environment
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
  • A proactive, helpful and team-focused approach
  • Previous experience within sales administration, sales support, customer service or order processing would be advantageous
  • Experience within a production, manufacturing, logistics or supply chain environment would be beneficial but is not essential
