Search Consultancy are delighted to be working exclusively with one of our long-standing clients in the Financial Services sector to recruit for this new Senior HR Advisor role.

The successful candidate will be responsible for collaborating with the wider HR team to provide a comprehensive HR service across the business through the provision of guidance & advice on all HR matters.

Duties involved in this role will include:

  • Delivering a comprehensive & customer-focused HR Advisory service ensuring all issues are taken to a successful resolution
  • Coaching & mentoring HR Advisors on more complex & sensitive ER issues, taking the lead where appropriate
  • Influencing & coaching managers across the business on ER issues, whistleblowing & employee tribunals – identifying root causes & seeing through to a satisfactory conclusion
  • Building strong & effective relationships with stakeholders across the business
  • Supporting with Organisational Development activities including job & salary evaluations, benchmarking, restructuring, redundancies, acquisitions & TUPE
  • Ensuring that effective performance conversations, promotions & reward/recognition meetings are taking place across the business
  • Reviewing engagement survey results & recommending business improvements where appropriate
  • Supporting the implementation of DE&I initiatives across the business
  • Analysis of Management Information related to exit interviews, surveys & people metrics to identify trends
  • Supporting with the development of HR policies and procedures
  • Various other HR related duties as required

In order to be considered for this role your skills and experience should include:

  • Extensive previous HR experience at Advisor level or above carrying out duties in line with the above spec – this experience is ESSENTIAL
  • Solid experience both as an HR Generalist and specific Employee Relations experience dealing with complex ER issues
  • Candidates who are CIPD qualified to Level 5 or above would be very much preferred for this role
  • First class communication skills – both written & verbal – with the capability to coach & influence at all levels of business
  • Solid IT skills including Microsoft Office, with the ability to pick up new systems quickly
  • Excellent organisation skills with the ability to prioritise & manage your workload effectively
