The Role
As a Packing Operative, you’ll play a key role in ensuring products are packed accurately and efficiently before being dispatched to customers.
Working within a busy production environment, you’ll follow established procedures and quality standards while supporting the wider team to meet production targets and deadlines.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Packing products into boxes and tubing to specification
- Selecting the correct packaging materials in line with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Printing labels and preparing products for dispatch
- Reading and interpreting work instructions and production documentation
- Managing workloads and prioritising orders appropriately
- Ensuring products are packed accurately and meet quality standards
- Recording information and updating systems where required
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work area
- Working efficiently to achieve production deadlines and targets
- Supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive team environment
What We’re Looking For

- Previous experience within a manufacturing, production or warehouse environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication skills
- Basic IT skills and confidence using computer systems
- A proactive and flexible approach to work
- Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- The ability to follow detailed instructions and procedures
- A strong work ethic and reliable attendance record
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
