Are you an experienced Electrical Project Manager looking to take ownership of exciting commercial and industrial projects from tender through to completion? We’re working with a well-established and growing electrical contractor with an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality projects across the commercial and industrial sectors. Due to continued growth, they’re looking to appoint an Electrical Project Manager to join their Oxford-based team.

The Role

As an Electrical Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing projects from initial tender through to final account, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest standard. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing multiple commercial and industrial electrical projects simultaneously
  • Preparing competitive tenders and quotations for projects ranging from small works to £1m+
  • Leading projects through every stage, from pre-construction to handover
  • Managing subcontractors, suppliers and site teams
  • Procuring materials and specialist services
  • Carrying out regular site visits to ensure quality, safety and programme are maintained
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants and key stakeholders
  • Preparing project documentation including progress reports, technical submittals, RFIs and project close-out information
  • Supporting the pre-construction team with surveys, meetings and tender activities

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience as an Electrical Project Manager within commercial or industrial projects
  • Time-served Electrician with strong technical knowledge
  • Experience delivering projects from inception through to completion
  • Good commercial awareness with strong budgeting and programme management skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Full UK Driving Licence

Desirable

  • Estimating experience
  • NICEIC Qualifying Supervisor/Manager status
  • City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing
